The following missive is from Our Chairman with regard to the 2012 AGM and window Dedication

It seems as though October is a busy month for St George's Church. The Station is not keen on having Entry members roaming around during the week and the Padre has Saturday's as his day off! I managed to arrange the following:-

Window dedication Sunday 14th October 2012

Arrive at Halton House at 1030 for tour

Arrive at St George's Church at 1145 for window dedication including lesson to be read by a 75th member & no more than a 5 minute dissertation by a member about the Entry (I would love to be able to ask Tom Broughton to do this as he did the first dedication but just in case he is unable to do so any ideas?).

To Tribute for photo opportunity

To Maitland for lunch, £6.00 per head payable in advance in cash to Min.

To Museum for AGM in Min's back room in the museum (non members to wander around museum) then disperse as and when.

This arrangement can only take place if more than 20 people are present. (I had an email from Min who said that we can even bring our granny to the dedication if they promise to behave! ) Please bring members of your family as this may well be the last time that we are allowed to enter the Station in this way.

I have therefore booked this up with Min so do you think you could start the jungle drums going. I will contact Colin of the bagpipes to invite him to play if he would like to. Regarding the luinch, I do not think it a problem if we do not know who is coming but it would be nice if we had some idea of the numbers! I have invited Min to lunch but I do not think he will want to come.
Does anyone think we should make arrangements for a hotel stay on the Sunday evening - my thoughts were that this is not a special 75th Entry year so it should perhaps be fairly low key!

Regards and thanks in advance

Mike
